Our Mission Statement
Uniting (Imaging) Experts working on Brain Hemodynamics
Understanding the human brain in health and in disease is a joint goal of fundamental neuroscience and clinical practice. With the advent of advanced neuro-imaging techniques, these same questions have also become the domain of engineers and physicists.
Our symposium is the world’s first bringing together neuroscientists, clinicians, engineers and physicists around the topic of hemodynamics of the (human) brain.

Our Motto
πάντα ῥεῖ
πάντα ῥεῖ or Panta Rei, is a statement in ancient Greek attributed to the philosopher Heraclites. The statement means ‘Everything Flows’. It is the motto of our symposium as it represents the many aspects of brain hemodynamics combined in our programme!
